This Privacy Policy sets out how Tonsoku (hereinafter “the Service”) handles user information. The Service is an unofficial information medium that independently gathers, edits, and provides information about Matsunoya.

Information We Collect

The Service may collect the following information in order to improve the Service and understand how it is used.

  • Access logs (IP address, date and time of access, pages viewed, etc.)
  • Device information (browser type, OS, screen resolution, etc.)
  • Information obtained through cookies and similar technologies
  • If you allow push notifications, the per-device identifier used to deliver notifications

Access Analysis

The Service may use access analysis tools provided by third parties, such as Google Analytics, in order to improve the Service. These tools use cookies to collect data, but the data does not include information that identifies individuals.

If you do not wish to see interest-based advertising, you can disable it from the settings page provided by each advertising provider, such as Google’s “Ads Settings.”

Settings Stored on Your Device

Your display theme and display language are stored on your device and used for subsequent visits. You can delete them from your browser settings.

The browsing history used for the “Back” function within the site is also stored on your device, but it is cleared when you close the tab.

None of the settings described above are transmitted to the operator’s server.

If you have allowed notifications, your settings for which notification categories to receive are also stored on your device. These are transmitted together with the per-device identifier in order to reflect your subscription (please also see “Push Notifications”).

Push Notifications

If you allow notifications, a per-device identifier is registered with Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging. This identifier cannot be used to identify an individual. You can stop notifications at any time from your browser or device settings.

Information We Do Not Collect

The Service does not collect information that directly identifies an individual, such as name, address, or telephone number.

Provision to Third Parties

The Service does not provide the information it collects to third parties (except where required by law).

However, as described in “Access Analysis” and “Regarding Advertising” above, when these tools and services are used, each provider obtains user information through cookies and similar means. The handling of the information obtained is governed by each provider’s own privacy policy.

Changes to This Policy

The Service may change this Policy without notice to users when it deems such change necessary. The revised Policy takes effect at the time it is posted on the Service.
