Matsunoya Rewrites Overnight-Closure Listings at 28 Stores Co-Located with MatsuyaOct 17, 2026

The business-hours field in Matsunoya’s store information has been rewritten for 25 stores. Each listing flags hours that change on specific days only. As of 23:00 on September 13, 2026, five stores had gained such a note, four had lost theirs, and the remaining 16 had their dates swapped for newer ones. The stores span eight prefectures — Aichi, Osaka, Gifu, Ishikawa, Mie, Fukui, Wakayama and Nara — and all 25 are co-located with Matsuya.

Five stores that gained a note

All five previously listed nothing but “open 24 hours.”

16 stores where the dates were swapped for newer ones

The swaps are not uniform. At Mikawa-Anjo and Obu, dates that had passed disappeared and different ones took their place, while Toyota Totsuka and Toyokawa kept their original dates and had new ones added. Izumiotsu and Nara Sanjo-oji went the other way: dates on or before September 13 fell off and the listing got shorter.

The changes fall between late night and morning

Every newly listed window sits within the range from 22:00 to 10:00 the next day. The latest finish is Tarui’s September 13 entry, “22:00 to 10:00 next day,” and not one listing reaches into the daytime hours. Of the 25 stores, 23 are open 24 hours; of the remaining two, Matsusaka Okoda runs 2:00–24:00 and Wakayama Kano 5:00 to 3:00 the next day.

Three stores picked up a long listing that runs across multiple dates: Matsusaka Okoda from September 14 to 29, 2:00–4:00; Echizen Senpuku from September 16 to 30, 2:00–5:00; and Komatsu Hinodecho from September 16 to 30, 2:00–3:00. Echizen Senpuku in Fukui and Komatsu Hinodecho in Ishikawa share the same date range.

Only stores co-located with Matsuya carry a note

As of 23:00 on September 13, 2026, 22 of the 678 stores nationwide had a note in the business-hours field. All 22 are co-located with Matsuya; not one of the 86 stores co-located with Mycurry Shokudo or the 122 standalone stores has one. There are 470 stores co-located with Matsuya nationwide, so the 22 are a slice of that group.

By prefecture: Aichi 12, Osaka three, Gifu two, and one each in Ishikawa, Mie, Fukui, Wakayama and Nara. Aichi has 36 stores in the prefecture, 25 of them co-located with Matsuya, and all 12 stores with a note fall within that set. Eleven of the 12 were rewritten this time; the twelfth, Gamagori (co-located with Matsuya), is not part of the current change.

Some of the 25 stores sit in a municipality where another Matsunoya is also listed. In Toyota, both Toyota Yamanote and Toyota Totsuka are affected. Matsusaka, home to Matsusaka Okoda, also has Matsusaka Kamada-cho (co-located with Matsuya), listed as opening at 10:00 on October 1, 2026. Nara and Gifu each have three stores in the city: Nara Sanjo-oji alongside Nara Ekimae and Nara Oshikuma (co-located with Matsuya), and Gifu Toeicho alongside Gifu Akanabe and Gifu Noritake (co-located with Matsuya).
