13 stores in Shiga including Yasu, the only one in Yasu

Shiga has 13 Matsunoya listings including Yasu. By municipality, Kusatsu has three, Higashiomi and Ritto have two each, and Otsu, Hikone, Koka, Omihachiman, Nagahama and Yasu have one each. Apart from Yasu, there is no other Matsunoya listing in Yasu.

As for co-location type, 12 of the 13 stores in the prefecture are co-located with Matsuya, and the remaining one (Kusatsu Kikawacho) is co-located with Mycurry Shokudo. There is no standalone Matsunoya in the prefecture. Nationwide, the 689 stores break down into 490 co-located with Matsuya, 76 co-located with Mycurry Shokudo and 123 standalone, so the Matsuya co-location format of Yasu is on the common side both nationwide and within the prefecture.

The closest existing store to Yasu is Ritto Shiyakushomae (co-located with Matsuya), about 5 km away in a straight line. Next come Ritto Reisenji at about 5 km and Kusatsu Eki Nishiguchi at about 7 km. The existing stores are clustered in Kusatsu and Ritto, and Yasu slots into the gap toward Omihachiman, which is about 11 km away.
