Matsunoya Okawa, Fukuoka's 20th Store, Opens November 5 at 10:00

“Matsunoya Okawa (co-located with Matsuya)” (133-1 Oaza Enokizu, Okawa, Fukuoka) has been newly added to Matsunoya’s store list. The listed store name carries the note “*Opening November 5 at 10:00,” so the store opens on November 5, 2026 at 10:00. Business hours are listed as “open 24 hours.”

Okawa is the only Matsunoya in the city

Okawa is the only Matsunoya listed in the city of Okawa; no other store appears within the same city.

The nearest existing store is Chikugo in the city of Chikugo, roughly 11 km from Okawa in a straight line. The two stores in Kurume (Kurume Shingogawa and Kurume Kokubu Bypass) are farther still.

In Fukuoka, 19 of 20 stores are co-located with Matsuya

Fukuoka has 20 Matsunoya stores including Okawa. As its listed name indicates, Okawa is co-located with Matsuya, and the prefecture’s 20 stores break down into 19 co-located with Matsuya and one co-located with Mycurry Shokudo. Not a single standalone store is listed.

Nationwide, the 688 stores consist of 489 co-located with Matsuya, 76 co-located with Mycurry Shokudo and 123 standalone stores, so standalone stores account for just under 20 percent. Fukuoka has none of that type, and Okawa opens in the format that dominates the prefecture.
