Business-hours listings have been rewritten at seven Matsunoya stores in Aichi Prefecture. In the content posted as of September 18, 2026, six stores added time periods when they will be closed, while at Matsunoya Chita the listed closures shrank from seven days to two. All seven stores are open 24 hours, with last order 30 minutes before closing.

Five Days Disappear from the Chita Listing

Of the seven stores, only Chita moved in the opposite direction. Before the change, closure windows were listed for seven days — September 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 29 and 30 — but only two remain after the change: the 20th and the 22nd.

Gone are the 22:00-to-8:00-the-next-day windows on the 21st and 26th, the 22:00-to-3:00-the-next-day window on the 27th, the 3:00-to-8:00 window on the 29th, and the 22:00-to-5:00-the-next-day window on the 30th. The two remaining windows on the 20th, 5:00 to 8:00 and 22:00 to 5:00 the next day, and the 22:00-to-8:00-the-next-day window on the 22nd are listed exactly as before. No reason is given for the removals.

Among the added windows, Nishio’s September 29 slot runs two hours, from 0:00 to 2:00, and Toyokawa’s September 25 slot also runs two hours, from 6:00 to 8:00 — both short stretches.

Where This Sits Within Aichi

All seven stores with revised listings are co-located with Matsuya. Aichi Prefecture’s 36 stores break down into 25 co-located with Matsuya, 5 co-located with Mycurry Shokudo and 6 standalone, and the same tilt holds nationwide, where 471 of 679 stores are co-located with Matsuya.

The seven are spread one apiece across the cities of Anjo, Toyota, Nishio, Chita, Obu, Miyoshi and Toyokawa, and three of those cities have another store as well. Anjo has Matsunoya Anjo (co-located with Mycurry Shokudo), Toyota has Matsunoya Toyota Totsuka (co-located with Matsuya) and Toyokawa has Matsunoya Toyokawa Hachiman (co-located with Matsuya), none of which are part of this round of changes. Nishio, Chita, Obu and Miyoshi each have only the one listed store in the city.
