Second Store in Yamagata City After Yamagata Fukamachi, About 5 Kilometers Away

The only Matsunoya already in Yamagata City is “Matsunoya Yamagata Fukamachi (co-located with Matsuya),” making Mamigasaki the second in the city. The two listed locations sit about 5 kilometers apart in a straight line, split northeast and southwest across the center of Yamagata City.

All Eight Stores in Yamagata Are Co-located with Matsuya

Including Mamigasaki, eight Matsunoya stores are listed in Yamagata. All eight are co-located with Matsuya — not one is co-located with Mycurry Shokudo, and not one is a standalone Matsunoya.

Across all 692 stores nationwide, 493 are co-located with Matsuya, 76 with Mycurry Shokudo, and 123 are standalone Matsunoya, putting standalone stores at just under 20 percent of the total. In Tohoku, the only standalone Matsunoya is a single store in Miyagi; Aomori, Iwate, Akita, Yamagata, and Fukushima have none. For now, the only place to eat Matsunoya food in Yamagata is inside a Matsuya.
