An official notice dated September 11, 2026 said “Fried Horse Mackerel” and “Fried Oyster” would go on sale at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, and the items and prices now listed match that announcement.

The listing covers 13 items: three set meals, five platters, one bowl, two morning set meals and two individual items. Two of the platters and both morning set meals carry a “store-limited menu” note.

The increases are on the two cheaper set meals. The priciest one, the Generous Fried Oyster (7 pcs) Set Meal, and both individual items are held where they were.

Two “Seafood Platters,” Same Name, Different Contents

This time’s Seafood Platter Set Meal (Oyster 2 pcs, Horse Mackerel 1 pc, Shrimp 1 pc) is 1,030 yen. Matsunoya also released a “Seafood Platter Set Meal” on July 1, 2026, but that one was Squid, White Fish and Shrimp at 1,190 yen. Same name, with the fry lineup and the price swapped out.

The July notice made the return of “Fried Squid” and “Fried White Fish” its main point. As of September 16, 2026, the Squid, White Fish and Shrimp version is still on the official website’s menu, which leaves two “Seafood Platters” sitting side by side.

The Extra Thick-Cut Rib Loin Cutlet used in the two 1,290 yen platters went on sale on June 24, 2026. The announcement put it at a 160g thick-cut spec and lined up pairings such as Grated Radish and Miso. Fried Oyster and Fried Horse Mackerel now join that lineup.
