Matsunoya Sendai Chuo Consolidates Its Day-by-Day Hours into a Single "9:00 to 2:00 the Next Day"

In Matsunoya’s store directory, the business hours listings for two stores in Miyagi Prefecture were rewritten on September 17, 2026. At Matsunoya Sendai Chuo, a listing split by day of the week became a single listing covering every day, and at Matsunoya Sendai Ogimachi (co-located with Matsuya), a listing that set out the store’s own hours alongside Matsuya’s was consolidated into one.

At Sendai Chuo, a listing divided into four parts — Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday through Sunday — became a single line with no distinction by day. The “open 24 hours” entry that had applied to Tuesdays and Wednesdays is also gone from the listing with this rewrite.

Sendai Ogimachi is co-located with Matsuya, and until now it had listed Matsunoya’s hours (8:00 to 22:00) alongside Matsuya’s (7:00 to 2:00 the next day). The new listing is a single “7:00 to 2:00 the next day,” matching the Matsuya side, and the last order entry has been dropped as well.

Both Were Uncommon Formats

Across the 678 stores currently listed, the kind of day-by-day breakdown Sendai Chuo used (a listing beginning with “月：”, meaning “Mon:”) now remains at only 11 stores. Senkawa, Ichikawa, Higashi-Shinjuku, Kinshicho and Shimbashi are among them.

Listings that append the co-located brand’s hours with “※Matsuya:” number nine, including Soyola Nagahara Ekimae, Tachikawa Shibasakicho, Asaka Hizaori and Kawashima. Both Sendai stores have thus moved away from a minority format and fallen in line with the single-line listing used by most stores.

Where They Stand in Miyagi and Sendai

Matsunoya has eight stores in Miyagi Prefecture: seven co-located with Matsuya and one standalone, with none co-located with Mycurry Shokudo. The two stores whose listings changed this time are Sendai Chuo, the only standalone store in the prefecture, and Sendai Ogimachi, which is co-located with Matsuya. Nationwide, the 678 stores break down into 470 co-located with Matsuya, 86 co-located with Mycurry Shokudo and 122 standalone.

Aoba Ward in Sendai, where Sendai Chuo is located, has one other store, Matsunoya Sendai Ichibancho (co-located with Matsuya). Miyagino Ward, where Sendai Ogimachi is located, has two: Matsunoya Sendai Nakanosakae (co-located with Matsuya) and Matsunoya Sendai Higashiguchi (co-located with Matsuya). All three of these Sendai stores are listed as open 24 hours, and none of them changed this time.
