StoresUpdated

The opening announcement has been dropped from the listing for Matsunoya Sayamadai (co-located with Matsuya). As of 9:48 a.m. on September 30, 2026, the store name on the official store information page reads “Matsunoya Sayamadai (co-located with Matsuya),” and the line “*Opening September 30 at 10:00 a.m.” that had been appended until just before is gone. The scheduled opening that had been listed was removed at the same time, and the entry switched to a standard listing with no scheduled opening date.

The location is listed as 1-1-8 Sayamadai, Sayama-shi, Saitama, with business hours given as “open 24 hours.”

The listing changed before the opening hour

	Before	After
Listed store name	Matsunoya Sayamadai (co-located with Matsuya) *Opening September 30 at 10:00 a.m.	Matsunoya Sayamadai (co-located with Matsuya)
Listed scheduled opening	September 30, 2026, 10:00 a.m.	(Not listed)

The listing gave the opening hour as 10:00 a.m. on September 30, but the note came off before that hour arrived. A note on the store name is what marks a store still waiting to open, so the rewrite itself is the switch from “store about to open” to “store listed among those in business.”

Sayamadai is the only Matsunoya in Sayama

Sayamadai is the sole Matsunoya in Sayama; there is no other store in the city. Saitama has 56 listings, the third-largest total nationwide after Tokyo (106) and Osaka (71), but the count is uneven from city to city. Koshigaya and Kawagoe lead with four each, followed by Soka, Iruma, Warabi, Asaka, and Minuma Ward in Saitama City with three each. Matsunoya operates in 31 municipalities in the prefecture, and municipalities with just one store are the most common group — Sayamadai among them.

Sayamadai is listed as co-located with Matsuya. Saitama skews further toward co-location than the country as a whole.
